America’s Got Talent has shared another trailer for Season 19, which is set to premiere on Tuesday night. This video includes clips of several acts who auditioned for the competition, and it teases a rule change about how many Golden Buzzers the judges can press.
America’s Got Talent Season 19 Trailer Teases New Rules
“This is Season 19. We are gonna go higher, we are gonna go farther, we are gonna break records,” judge Howie Mandel can be heard saying in the new trailer, which features clips from electrifying dance acts, mystifying magicians, and dangerous stunts.
Judge Sofia Vergara can also be heard praising one of the auditioning acts, telling them, “Your act is so spectacular, so flawless, so sexy and vicious. Perfection!” We can’t wait to find out who she was talking about, and if they earned her Golden Buzzer.
Speaking of Golden Buzzers, there will be more this season than we’re used to seeing. In one clip, Cowell can be seen hitting the Golden Buzzer for an act, prompting Mandel to point out that it’s his second one. Cowell responds, “Doesn’t matter.”
Host Terry Crews can then be heard saying that “all of the judges have two Golden Buzzers.” He adds, “New season, new rules.” It looks like they’re taking a page from Britain’s Got Talent and Canada’s Got Talent.

When Does the New Season Premiere?
AGT Season 19 will premiere on Tuesday, May 28, at 8/7c on NBC. It will also be available to stream on Peacock. As usual, the season will start with the audition round, as the judges watch performances from a variety of acts hoping to win the million-dollar prize.
All four judges (Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell) are returning to the panel — along with host Terry Crews. Last season, dog act Adrian Stoica & Hurricane won the show. Who will be this season’s champion?
