Charli D’Amelio to Co-Host the Kids’ Choice Awards
D’Amelio stopped by CBS Mornings on Tuesday to chat with co-host Burleson about their new gig. The 18-year-old said she’s “most looking forward to seeing everyone get slimed.” She added that she’s bringing her family to the show and hopes it happens to them.
“I think you can expect so many epic moments,” D’Amelio said of the show. “Amazing guests, amazing nominees showing up. Music… and obviously some intense slimings.”
D’Amelio is also nominated this year in the Favorite Female Creator category. The TikTok star said it was “so special to be recognized alongside a group of people that I love.” That includes her older sister Dixie, as well as Addison Rae, Gracie’s Corner, Kids Diana Show, and Miranda Sings.
The star has been nominated in two previous years, for Favorite Female Social Star and Favorite Female Creator. She won both times, so we can’t wait to find out if she continues her streak this year.

AGT, The Masked Singer Nominated for Favorite Reality Show
On Tuesday, the nominations for the Kids’ Choice Awards were announced. The Favorite Reality Show category featured two popular talent shows. America’s Got Talent and The Masked Singer are both up for the award. Last year, AGT was the winner.
The Kids’ Choice Awards have been given out since 1987, with the iconic blimp design introduced in 1990. The categories have changed over the years, but some have stood the test of time. That includes Favorite Movie, Favorite Movie Actor, and Favorite Movie Actress.
This year’s awards will air live on Nickelodeon on Saturday, March 4, at 7 p.m. ET/PT. The ceremony will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
